Victorian Villa

The clients’ brief for the complete renovation of this turn of the century Victorian villa was simple – to create a classically styled interior that highlights the villa’s original charm and functions well for the busy family of four.

Subtle, rich colour tones were selected for the exterior and interior colour palette inspired by the historic English Farrow & Ball range. These perfectly compliment the bespoke furnishings made from robust traditional fabrics with accents of rich silks, cotton, velvets and linens. Antique chandeliers are used throughout the formal lounge, stairwells and dining areas with traditional pendants in the bedrooms and task lighting in the kitchen, utility areas and in the study areas within the home.

Artisans were commissioned to create bespoke pieces such as the handcrafted Art Nouveau bathroom tiles, stained glass window designs and stairwell baluster posts.
